Now Churning: Cinnamon Brown Sugar with Pecan Praline Sauce


The praline sauce was supposed to be swirled into the ice cream but the ice cream was ready before the praline sauce was cooled. This sauce is really good over pancakes too!


Basic Praline Sauce

What you need:

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts of your choice

What to do:

  • Melt butter in a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat
  • Add sugar. Stir until sugar melts and sauce begins to boil. 
  • Stir in milk, vanilla, and nuts until smooth.
